Tash Mahal; one of the unique buildings in Alaçatı by architectural means. The 150- year-old building was once owned by a Greek wine trader family. Recent owners who have faithfully restored the old building loyal to it’s original spent two years. Tash Mahal is now hosting its guests as a boutique hotel. Keeping the historical character of the original structure, each room has it’s special features for discovery.--sometimes a big hearth or a bedroom in a mezzanine, sometimes a terrace or balcony… The bathrooms are decorated as meticuolus as the rooms. In order for our guests to appreciate the peaceful atmosphere in our hotel , our rooms do not contain any visual technology items. However, we have a TV in our lobby.
Our boutique hotel serves as a bed and breakfast. We also serve our customers who wish to have lunch and dinner. For breakfast, we offer you a variety of local tastes such as virgin olive oil, home made bread and special sweet cheese; we even feature marmelade made with fruits grown in our garden. We strongly suggest you to try the Aegean cuisine of Tash Mahal if you are in Alaçatı.
Alacati
In the second half of the 19th century, life in Alaçatı booms as the Greek workers who were brought to dry the existent swamp settled down to the locale and built stunning Alaçatı homes as well as the export of wine to all over the world. In addition to the vineyards; olive and almond are also a part of the natural richness.
It is an adorable little town with its Balkan and Cretan Muslims that came following the population exchange which reached the present day without being disrupted. Alaçatı coast with its calm but windy situation is recently discovered by the wind surf devotees and hosts both the amateur surfers who just began surfing as well as international champions.
Today many old stone houses are renovated. Most of them now house fine restaurants and cafes, as well as other small hotels.
Along with these developments, vineyards, olive groves and lavender plantations are also being established around Alaçatı.
Provence, Teras and Dora II are the rooms where additional beds can be placed. The rate of extra bed is € 40,00. We do not allow children between the ages of 0-7 into our hotel. An extra bed rate is charged to children over 6 years old.

Location : Alaçatı is located 70 km. west of Izmir, it is 90 km. away from the İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport and 10 km. away from the township of Çeşme. You can easily reach Alaçatı from the airport via an excellent highway or take a public bus from İzmir.
